David Sifling, the owner and President of True Polygraph, is a retired Police Officer with over 24 years of experience in law enforcement before becoming a certified polygraph examiner. His extensive background includes serving as a Detective on high-profile cases, a Field Training Officer (FTO), a School Resource Officer (SRO), and working with the G.R.E.A.T. (Gang Resistance Education and Training) program as a certified Families Instructor and at-risk youth program director. Additionally, he has experience as a Traffic Division Investigator, Motor Officer, Dispatcher, Press Information Officer (PIO), Explorer Advisor, and Community Relations Coordinator. With his expertise, True Polygraph offers professional polygraph services, including lie detector tests in California and San Diego polygraph testing.
Training and Memberships
David graduated from the Marston Polygraph Academy as a certified polygraph examiner, which is accredited by the American Polygraph Association (APA). He offers professional polygraph services and is well-versed in conducting lie detector tests in California. David holds an Advanced Certificate from the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) and is a proud member in good standing of the APA, CAPE (California Association of Polygraph), and AAPP (American Association of Police Polygraphists). Additionally, David is an Executive Member in charge of Operations at the Greater San Gabriel Valley Rotary Club (District 5300), where he contributes to community initiatives, including promoting awareness about San Diego polygraph testing.

David has received several honors and awards during his career, including the President of the United States Lifetime Achievement Award, the Governors Hero Award from Rotary International, and the Hero of the Game by the LA Galaxy Soccer Club. He is also a recipient of the Club Champion Citation from Rotary and has been recognized by the California State Senate and Assembly for his volunteer work and efforts throughout various communities.
